ALASKAN RETREAT DETAILS SUMMER 2024

Enjoy three Alaskan summer days and two nights of yoga at the Earth, Fire, & Water Summer 2024 retreat. Located on the beautiful lands of the Aak’w Kwáan on Lingít Aání of Juneau, Alaska, we will stay at the Eagle Valley Centerin the heart of Amalga Meadows Park in the Tongass National Forest. This three day retreat is a premium experience in self care. Enjoy invigorating and relaxing yoga sessions in the wilderness, enjoy a writing workshop with goal setting, Sanskrit studies, walk/hikes to the ocean, bonfires, and more. We will have a fire ceremony (called a yagya), which includes a writing activity to release the old, and embrace the new.
Enjoy a weekend away from social media and to do lists, and tune in to the nature and beauty in the elements of the southeast Alaskan rainforest. Come and share locally sourced meals together, practice morning and evening yoga, find time for self reflection and stillness. Walk ( or sit) among the Spruce and Hemlock trees in the giant Amalga Meadows, sit by the ocean shore or stream, and replenish your mind/body connection. Get in touch with your whole self.
To keep it real, 10 participants is the maximum for the overnight retreat.

* Each garden to table item of food you will eat this weekend was caught, foraged, and prepared by our friends, family and my former students who I support by purchasing their products, and investing in their business.

Keeping it local reduces our carbon footprint, employs the locals, and builds and fosters our Juneau community. I am so fortunate to be able to share foods with you at this one of a kind retreat in the Alaskan wilderness.
